Intelligent Defrost Controller

Timed defrost cycle controls are wasteful and out-dated.  Defrosting on a clock’s schedule causes refrigeration units to waste energy regardless of defrost need. This excess heating, and subsequent re-cooling, wastes energy thus raising refrigeration costs.

ADA’s Technology

ADA Technology’s Demand Defrost Controller was designed to decrease refrigeration energy use 7% - 15% by operating only when a system needs to defrost and only for the amount of time necessary.  The Demand Defrost Controller was developed with patented sensor and control technology.  With simple connections to all subsystems, the controller acts as a central processor for all components and can also warn the user of maintenance problems before catastrophic failure causes inventory to be lost.
