Born from a $100K US Army SBIR grant in 1999 to develop a miniature weather station, ADA has created a multi-million dollar systems integration business. ADSS develops and manufactures accurate weather and situational monitoring systems that are small, rugged and easily deployable. Started as an answer to the military’s need for lightweight weather sensors, ADSS now offers a complete suite of sensors, communication products, and integrated systems.
ADSS was launched from ADA in 2008 and has continued to prove the ADA business model of converting innovative technologies into commercial success. ADSS has established itself as a leader in advanced sensor technologies for defense, homeland security, force protection and commercial applications.
